THE HORRORS OF THE BIAFRAN WAR. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW...

I sat down last night and thought to myself what the Biafran war was like. So I embarked on a research and
this is what I found.

The Nigerian Civil War, also known as the Biafran War, 6 July 1967 – 15 January 1970, was a war fought to counter the secession of Biafra from Nigeria.

If you want more information on this, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_Civil_War.

Those who were around then would agree with me that it wasn't a pleasant site. Alot of people died, alot was lost to war, innocent children were seperated from their parents, innocent children died of Kwashiorkor and other diseases.

Funny enough:
It was Nigeria that came down to the east to start fighting

It was Nigeria that starved those kids to death by creating an artificial blockade, something regarded today as a war crime.

It was Nigeria that forstered the war when they rejected the democratic notion of a referendum offered by Ojukwu and instead, chose the dictatorial notion of 'Nigeria by force'

The war was a testament that the house founded and built by the British criminal known as Lugard and called Nigeria has no foundation

The war exposed the fact that there are people who have a sense of self determination and others who have 'slave mentality'

The war was a lot of things, but no Igbo man worth his salt should ever view it with any sense of nostalgia, for freedom is one of the very few things in life worth fighting and dying for
