There is a dictum which says, when one finger touches oil, it affects the others. Nigerians needs to discover the finger that touches oil in which other fingers are thereby affected. If we should examine very well the nation is moving backward simply because something is wrong with one of the components part which are interconnected in the roles they play to ensure stability, social order and peace in the nation. The components part that are interconnected are the educational, economics, security, legal, family, religious, and political system. Any problem or inadequacies witnessed among these components part will affect the development of the nation negatively. The dysfunction of one of these components part has even turn us to strangers in our father's land and give room to the strangers to use us as they like. According to the functionalist, society is like a living organism, in which parts of the organism contribute to its survival. Also in every living organisms there are digestive, circulatory, reproductive, respiratory, endocrine, and nervous system, any dysfunction in any of these systems will affect the entire body of an organism. At the same time, all these system have linkage with one another in the functions they perform, any alteration in any part renders the entire body incomplete and disorganized. There is need for us to rise and search deeply for the affected components part in the nation and find a lasting solution to it for the nation to move forward in all good things.
