BUSINESS MINDED PEOPLE ONLY
Millionaire habits are like every other habits. I have been playing the piano since I was about 7 years old. I was taught to play from the book. I was always rehearsing one piece or another till I was very fluent, so fluent that I could play any piece in front of me.

Fast forward to high school, I went with my Yamaha PSR-1000 keyboard. My friends knew I could play the piano, so they’d always say “dude, play something for us”, then I’ll pick up a piece and play. One day, I went visiting my friend that had a piano, but wasn’t that good at it. He asked me to play a tune, and then I realized I really couldn’t play anything without reading from some book.

I changed my practicing habits. I stopped playing from the books, and started listening to good music, then try to improvise and play what I heard. This new practice habit revolutionized my whole piano playing as I am now confident in myself that I can play any tune in my head anyhow I want to play it. smiley

For every good habit you gain, a bad habit is dropped. I now play at different places, I play music from my heart that will express any given mood. All this change is because I dropped a bad habit, and picked up new ones.

This goes for every other thing in life. If you want to be a millionaire, picking up millionaire habits will ultimately make you a millionaire. Below are the 10 powerful millionaire habits that will make you a millionaire. You're welcome smiley

1. Dress how you want to be addressed

This is the whole essence of this post. You must have heard this particular one before, but we’re taking it further than just “dressing”. Take this principle to everything you do in life. Change your circle of friends if they hold you back. Leave porn, don’t do drugs; they affect your confidence and general demeanor. I don’t buy the “fake it till you make it” slogan, but what I believe is that if you want to be a millionaire, you must cultivate the millionaire habits or mindset.

Cultivating millionaire habits or mindset in no way means you should live above your income undecided . When I decided I was going to learn to play from my heart, I wanted that so badly that any sound I played sounded like I could really improve on that sound. If you want to be a millionaire so bad, you just won’t be comfortable with settling for less than that.

Of course aspiration is just the beginning. When you want something badly, you are driven to work more for this thing. This is the most important drive that all millionaires today once had before they got to where you see them now.

2. Set daily goals

This is similar to the first step on the post on brokenot.com on how to be financially fit. I have consciously developed this habit, and it has contributed to my success over the years. No matter what you are planning for, you should always set out a list of goals to reach daily.

Every evening when you review your set-out goals, and you see you achieved them, you have a sense of genuine fulfillment. The advantages of doing this cannot be overstated; you wake up each morning with a sense of purpose as goal setting helps you prioritize, avoiding spending on impulse.

This is one sure habit that will make you a millionaire.

3. Simplify your words

This is something we strive to maintain at brokeNOT.com. Unless you're a certain Hon Patrick Obahiagbon grin , when you speak, you should bear in mind that your intention is not to show off your command of the English language (unless that is the plan as the case may be), but to send a message across to your audience. This is something millionaires do very well.

When you say things in simpler terms, not only will your listeners easily comprehend your message, they tend to believe and trust you more.

4. Make your personal values > your career goals

Well, not really. But when your business is your pleasure, you are kind of mixing business with pleasure. What am I saying? The works of an artiste reflect the kind of person they are; so should your business. Your professional goals and your personal values should go hand-in-hand.

As a pianist, I love Jazz, because I feel these genres are really natural, and I can improvise on a jazz piece anyhow I like, depending on my mood or the mood I want to create in the room. I know hip-hop or other more commercial genres would generate more income for me, but I don’t play them simply because that is not who I am.

Be a man of your words. Do not make empty promises (or threats), if you do so, you put your reputation in danger, and that is the beginning of the end for your dreams of becoming a millionaire. These are millionaire habits.

Simply, let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’, and your ‘No’, ‘No’ – Jesus Christ

5. Ask Questions

Many musicians always encounter a point in their music where it feels like they are stuck at a point and you are not improving. At this point, a good musician asks questions; they search for materials or join groups to exchange knowledge with their fellow musicians.

No man knows everything. The feeling of knowing everything holds you back. You don’t always have to labour yourself doing all the thinking; sometimes, you have to humble yourself and ask other people that must have gone through the same situation you are going through now.

Judge a man by his questions rather than his answers –Voltaire

6. Do the most. Work smarter, not harder!

Ever wondered why people get paid more for intellectual work than for physical work? This is just the natural order of things.

Who are the big dogs in your trade? Identify these people because they are your main competitors. Study these competitors to find out what it is that they are doing right; improve on these things and always make your products or services to stand out from the rest. The key here is to strive to be the best.

If you do the minimum, you get minimum results; if you do the maximum, you get maximum results. Simple. Find smarter ways to achieve your goals. Your goal is to maximum results; your goal is to be the best; so you must outwork (or outsmart) your competitors.

Remember, work smarter, not harder.

Every master was once a disaster. - T. Harv Eker

7. Reach out

This is one of the most crucial millionaire habits that will change your life.

You wish to be a millionaire. Come out of your comfort zone and reach out. You can reach out with emails, phone calls, adverts, etc. There are numerous ways to reach out to your potential clients.

There are many ways for searching for people who need your service, reach out to them, but be sure what you show them should be what they get, so that you maintain your new found client base.

You should be aware that you will definitely face rejection; be also aware that you can meet the right client base that will ultimately change your life.

Identify your bad habits, drop them. Make some good millionaire habits, sit down and watch as these millionaire habits make you a millionaire!

Good question. Honestly, I can't say my opinion is surest, man, but i think there is a difference between a professional trader who relies on a systematic approach, discipline and prudent money management with a trader who relies on luck as much as skill to stay afloat

so you mean a gambler who relies on a systematic approach, discipline and prudent money management is better than a gambler who relies only on luck and skills to keep on going?
