Tinubutoto:This is a rerun and not a fresh election. Whether the court of appeal erred is not up for discussions. The judgement has been given and cannot be reversed. Even if PDP is allowed to participate in the elections, they can never field a new candidate. Peter obi is just wasting his time |

Tinubutoto:The last time I checked, Peter obi was governor of Anambra State for 8 years, the first person in Anambra to enjoy such benefits despite his poor performance what do you say about that? |

ultimateballer:guy pls stop misquoting the law, d pdp candidate has gone to another party. it is a matter of informing INEC formally that she has defected to another party. Least I forget, no need to inform INEC because it was held that she was not duly nominated. The supreme court ruled of recent that d candidate of a party is to be determined by d NWC, so stop killing yo self |

ultimateballer:Peter Obi performed poorly? ahhhhhhhhh, but during the Obiano's election, apga hinged on Peter Obi's performance in their campaign, today he was a bad governor? |

Tinubutoto:why are you twisting the law to suit you. INEC has already said there will not be any new candidates in the rerun. Whether the pdp candidate defected to another party is of no business to INEC. Going by your assertion, if PDP cannot present Ekwunife, it then means, they are not participating in the elction. It is only Ekwunife that could have benefited from that Supreme Court judgement but she ran faster than her shadow. If you like twist it anyhow you like. Peter obi or any other new person can never participate in that election. |

Tinubutoto:There is no way you can compare obiano's 2 years (despite the economic crunch) with Peter obi's 8 years and tell us Peter obi didn't perform poorly. Absolutely no way |

The court says Ekwenife was not duly elected so d need for a fresh process. go read Ishaku v. Apc the supreme court has said the court of appeal or tribunal has nothingto do with pre election matters in post election trial. so go read up |

How can a well respected ex-governor like Obi bring himself so low to contest the annulled election in his state? Why didn't he come out to contest it when it was held last year? As a leader, he should proffer solution to the problems facing the state and not being part of the problem. He knows that this election goes with a lot of grudges and bitterness and should refrain from causing turmoil in the state he left as the governor just 24 months ago. APGA is the ruling party in Anambra State, we should help the amiable governor of the state by voting for anybody that emerges as the APGA candidate. Anambra state will attain a greater height if the Governor of the state has federal lawmakers representing the state under his party more than what it will achieve if the lawmakers are from opposition party. Chief Sir Victor Umeh is a well known outspoken and fearless man who can stand the test of time and speak for Ndigbo even more than Peter Obi. If Obi comes out and loses this election the same thing that happened to Soludo, who contested and lost the governorship election, thereby dragging his famous dignity and integrity to the floor, will happen to Obi. Vote for Chief Sir Victor Umeh (Ohamadike), vote for APGA. |
