For the past one week, the Ese dilemma has been trending both on our social media and on the front pages of some of our daily newpapers which is commendable and should be applauded by All.
But the question is this "will this be swept under the carpet like all the ones that have been happening before?"
You need to live in the north to know the rate at which such forceful conversions takes place. At almost every CAN meeting in Zaria, there's always an issue of a girl forcefully kidnapped and taken to Zaria city and as the case of Ese and the developing news about an Agatu girl who was forcefully taken to Sokoto continues to trend,I pray and hope that Nigerians understands what this means and work towards eradicating this evil trend.
Fani Kayode has said it all,its time the perpetrators face the law and get punished for it. I personally will suggest a special arm of the Nigerian police is set up to deal with such issues and follow up complains instead of letting the family of the abductors and the abducted suffer both emotional and psychological trauma.
ENOUGH is ENOUGH
No Religion or Ethnic group or individuals are better than or more important than the unity of Nigerian
God Bless Nigeria
