Don't mind pastors
Don't mind religions.
There is nothing like rapture or end time in our future.
Don't allow them threaten you with rapture message and make you fear.
Please Don't take your current life for granted.
Enjoy your life to the fullest.
you are unique and ok the way you are,
there is nothing wrong with you that warrant you running to pastors.
All the pastors have their problems more than your own.
you don't know.
Take your education very seriously and become the best you can, make your wealth and touch your world positively, giving love to the needy and live your life happily.
All the church church going is not necessary.
They turn you to mumu , you will never know.
You think you are going to the house of God, working for God.
That conviction is the big deception.
They are making money from you.
The kingdom of God is right inside you,
everything is now in your hands

he was not referring to rapture.
he was referring to his coming to earth to die and save mankind which he did about 2000years ago.
just as the lightening strikes from the east to west is like a parable which means, he will travel from Galilee(representing east ) to Jerusalem where he will be crucified (representing west ).
so, the prophecy of Jesus coming as spoken by Daniel the prophet(matthew 24:15) has already been fulfilled 2000 years ago .
Matthew 24:34 confirmed it by saying
Verily I say unto you, This generation(that generation that Jesus came to the world to die) shall not pass, till all these things(all the things written in that Matthew 24) be fulfilled.
this is what ancient Catholic theologians who postulated rapture doctrine failed to see

read mattew chapter 24 vs 27 again and see that He was talking about a time different from theirs.. a time after He has gone.. a time of tribulation.. pay attention to vs 30 n 31. without the rapture there wont e need for an anti Christand therefore Christ would have to be wrong..

have faith n be of good cheer, expect His coming.. You and I will make it to heaven

The scriptures clearly tell us about the return of the Lord Jesus. See below paul's warning in 2nd Timothy 2:

17 ..."of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; 18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his.

Acts 1:11 "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

Brothers and sisters, Jesus shall come again. Please don't be deceived due to ignorance. Search the scriptures for yourself. Pray God grants it to you to do so.

ok
look at it this way
Matt 24:24 FOR there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders;....
when ever a verse start with the word "FOR "the preceding statement is a written prophecy which the people were already aware of.
so Jesus was simply quoting out a written prophecy to his disciples, that there will be false prophets at the very time he will come to the world to die, which was 2000 yrs ago
matt 24:25 Behold, I have told you before(meaning, the disciples listening to Jesus talking have heard of false prophets before, so he was reminding them again ) .
so, false prophets also existed at that time which he was referring to.
Not the false prophets of our present day or our future days.
Matt24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
(meaning, for as the direction of thunder strikes, so shall Jesus take a direction of his movement with his disciples preaching the kingdom of God from city to city, starting from Galilee, moving towards Jerusalem which is the direction, until he arrives at Jerusalem where he will be crucified).
so thunder lightening represent the direction of Jesus movement, Just like the sower represent the son of man, the field represent the world and the tares represent the children of darkness in Jesus parables in matt 13:37-38.
so, looking at it, there is nothing rapture there in this chapter

2timothy 2:17-18 refers to people who do not believe in resurrection saying that resurrection is pass.
But I'm saying that resurrection is now
eternal life is now
heaven is now,
not in our future.
so, if u are still waiting to go heaven then u don't know your right as a Christian here on earth

How do you guys explain away 2 Peter 3: 1-18 and the wedding in heaven in Revelations 19?

ok you are referring to 2 Peter 3:7 specifically which says
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
The question is, who are the ungodly men?
the ungodly men refers to non christians.
Every christians where made godly by Christ through grace, so he is declared righteous and can't be said to commit sin no matter the sin he commits
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed (God's seed) remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
so, no Christian was reserved unto fire against of perdition.
Rather, every Christian keeps resurrect and continue to remain alive on earth forever and ever, no end.
Now, every ungodly men (non christians ) who lived as at the time Peter wrote this thing 2000 years ago, including everything that existed at that time, are no where to be found today.
they are all fade away or died (the second death) as if they were burnt off by fire.
that is what Peter meant by "reserved unto fire "
Peter was not referring to anything called hell fire which born people forever.
The lake of fire in revelation means death (call it condemnation or second death ), a state of lifelessness and nothing else
Re: This Current Life We Are Living Is The Predestined Eternity Of The Bible by Iceflox(f): 7:40pm On Mar 04, 2016
it just occur to me that when Jesus first mentioned hell fire in the book of Mark, he was referring to the fire of sacrifices and burnt offerings of the Jews of those days, where they normally used salt to season the offering meat and preserve them from decay by worms . Not fire burning people, and worms eating people in fire in the last day.
Mark 9:48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
mark 9:49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

I was referring to the whole chapter and not just a specific verse 7 which you assumed I meant and the "question" certainly isn't who the ungodly men are, it's about whether or not the resurrection has occurred. It hasn't.

Peter was speaking to "godly" men here and cautioning them so they do not fall away. In verse 11-12 one can see that he expects them to live holy and godly lives as they look forward to the day of the lord which is the day christ would return to earth as declared in acts 1:11 which I've quoted before but you ignored deliberately?

And how about the wedding in revelations 19 of christ and his church? Shey you said there's no heaven, resurrection, rapture, etc.

2 Peter 3:11 Seeing then that ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE DISSOLVED , what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
what things shall be dissolved?
the heavens (clouds) ,check verse 10.
verse 10 talk about loud noise(which is described as sound of trumpet in 2 cor 15:52, which means, calling to death, like trumpet is used to call us, it is time for us to die. In those days, trumpet was used to call people together them for battle)
it also talk about everything burning with fire.
which means, burning life out, such that we will die not perceiving the clouds again and all existence of life
Now, all these things are figurative languages (if u understand your literature in English ) and the literal meaning is death.
meaning, we will all die some day.
The day we die marks the day of coming of the Lord where he will come and judge mankind.
It is appointed once for men to die, after that judgement.
let's look at 2 Peter again.
2 Peter 3:12 Looking for and HASTING UNTO the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat(all these means, where in we will die )?
hasting unto death , simply means rushing to die..that is, dying prematurely, when you are not yet old enough to die.
what is responsible for this is sin, as the wages of sin is death.
sin kills faster.
That is why he says what manner of conversation ought you to be, in verse 11.
But the good news lies in verse, that after we die and being judged , we will resurrect into new heavens(clouds ) and new earth again. That is, this same earth that we are living now, that has clouds that we can see above.
2 peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
You may argue that there is no righteousness on this earth because there are atrocities currently around the world.
that is a big lie.
righteousness is found inside all christians here on earth, through Christ. inspite their sin.
2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
Be diligent means, be diligent upholding your faith as a Christian, Don't allow anybody deceive you into other faith (religion ).that is the only way you will be spotless or blameless.
As Jesus is the only way.
ok, you also mentioned act 1:11.
Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Groundhog Day is an American movie in which the main character repeats the same day over and over. But he remembers the events of the last time he was alive. The day doesn't change, every time he tries to change it by, say, locking himself away and trying to stay awake for the whole 24 hrs, something bad happens and he either dies, goes to sleep, or is knocked out or something. Whenever, he wakes up, he will be back in his bed on the morning of the SAME day.

The man even became an armed robber, I believe. He already knew where the police would be, because he tried it a million times, got caught, and died. He would just wake up back in his bed on that morning and go try again.

In our own case, we don't get to remember the events of the past life, even if we're the same person.

Or maybe we're to serve as the fossil fuel for the future generation. Our bodies, that is. Nobody knows. And we certainly won't know if these billions of religious knuckleheads keep telling us that they DO KNOW! Do you see the problem?

Jesus will return.

For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Matt 24:27

As for one's current life on earth, let them continue to live and work, sowing seeds of righteousness wherever they go, growing in the grace and knowledge of the word of God and being led by the Holy Ghost.

When a believer dies then they rest in the Lord awaiting the appointed time when he will come for his bride on earth. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in christ will rise first. After that, they who are still alive shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so they would be with the Lord forever. 1 Thess 4: 16-17

And then there will be a wedding in heaven according to revelations 19 that you keep refusing to comment on.

the sripture didn't say all these ones?
all these were products of fallacies of ancient Catholic church and not scriptures.
Funny enough, ancient Catholic theologians have all died long time ago, their mistake is now affecting current day Christianity negatively.
Current day christians have the responsibility to identify these mistakes and go back to the basics how it used to be when the disciples saw Christianity as one faith and one salvation here on earth.
The way you are looking at your Matthew 24:27 is one of the many fallacies of ancient theologians who never felt the 4 walls of university education.
Go and summarize the whole chapter of Matthew 24 you will understand why verse 27 is there.
all these things were even prophecies of Daniel who prophecied the coming of Jesus who has already come to die.
Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understandsmiley
So, read the whole chapter and understand.
stop following pastors.
The jews were waiting for the Messiah.
Few of them knew the Jesus was the Messiah to come.
Jesus was telling them this is time of the coming of the Messiah who was actually Jesus himself.
They didn't know.

The only thing Jesus mentioned that will occur at the future of that time of Matthew 24 was persecution of christians at
Matthew 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
From verse 15 down he was talking about things that were happening right in the presence of the disciples who were listening to him.
abomination of desolation as prophesied by Daniel happened at that time.
people who were on roof top have to flee to the mountains abandoning their clothes and belonging for Jesus sake.
Peter says we have left all and follow thee.
So, There was great tribulation that has never happened before since the history of mankind up to that point of Jesus days .
ok, Revelation 19
By the let me ask,
what do you take revelation of John for?
prophecies of our future??
my guy, you are lost.
Revelation of John is record about Jesus and what he will do when he come to die for mankind which has already occur 2000 ago
Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ(referring to the whole book of revelation from chapter 1 to 22), which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things WHICH MUST SHORTLY COME TO PASS (meaning, it will come to pass shortly after the time John documented the record(including your revelation 19), which is approximately 2000 years ago ); and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Rev 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
Now, the question is
is 2000 years ago a short time?
after 2000 years plus, you people are still waiting?
you must be dreaming.
You people Don't think at all to understand times.
If rapture was going to happen true true, that is how it would have pass you people.
because you Don't think.

so, how did you come about all these
simple,
look at the template of how Jesus interpreted his parables you will understand everything.. be it complex or simple.
in matt 13:37-38
the sower represent
the son of man, the field represent the world and
the tares represent the children of darkness in
Jesus parables .
this is how to understand figurative languages.
The mysteries of God's kingdom can never be mysteries again.
You will understand everything from matthew to revelation just like u understand your school curriculum without contradictions or fallacies
