It is very true and right to say that a people who will suffer from any thing that is immediately wihtin the frontiers of their lives should out caution and necessity for thier own safty control it. Because they will be the immediate sufferes of the effects.

In my opinion the niger delta people are a people wihtin the immediate reach of the consequental desasters that the natural resources they have to live with both beneath and above them, should be controled by them. To whom much suffering would be given it is only in line with the wisdom of nature that more respite too should be given.

let us assium that the whole of Africa, is now formed into a one nation state, and nigeria is just a state in the fedration, and we contribute to the welfare of the African nation as a state. Are we not going to be clamouring as the niger deltans are clamouring to ady for resource control if some super power in the continent like south africa wants to use all the proceeds from the resources without given nigeria the right to contribute to the nation as their needs will p[ermit them to freely do.

I think the government should be more objective to approach he issue with more humanness. let every region control their resources, that is part of the mark of a true fiscal federalism that is devoid of the quasi autocracy that exist in presidential federalism. I wish my beloved country all the best as she tries to do what is beat for all and by that means open another channell that will help us al;l move ahead from wher we are today, and join the ranks of our counterparts all over the world especially here in Africa like South Afica , Ghana, Lybia and others. [font=Lucida Sans Unicode]Long live the people of nigeria, long live the government of Nigeria, long live the FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA AND ABOVE ALL GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
