OEAS DARES BUHARI, CALLS FOR
CREATION OF A BIAFRA UNITED FRONT

After the statement from Buhari on Al
jazeera that he won’t tolerate the biafrian
movement in Nigeria, calling the ipob
demonstration a joke, well that has
stirred more aggravations in ipob camp.
The Organisation of Emerging African
States (OEAS) has planned the biggest
international conference to discuss the
way forward on the ongoing agitations for
an independent Biafra State tagged the
All-Biafran Conference (ABC), the
organizers said that all pro- Biafra groups
will be invited to the confab.
In a letter to the Indigenous Peoples of
Biafra (IPOB), the OEAS said that the All-
Biafra Conference 2016 would be held
soon at a location it will provide.
The organization said that the failure to
unite is promoting and supporting the lie
and calumny of tribalism in the struggle
for the Biafra State.
The group called for the creation and
implementation of a Biafra United Front
(BUF) to use necessary means to achieve
the desired goals. The group made the call
after accusing the Federal Government of
Nigeria of total neglect of its demands on
the issue of Biafra.
The OEAS’ letter was endorsed by Dr.
Ebenezer Derek Mbongo Akwanga Jnr, the
group’s Secretary General and Jonathan
Levy, Solicitor, Chief Administrative
Officer of OEAS.
They accused the Federal Government of
neglecting its initial demand to among
other things; release from jail the leaders
and supporters of pro-Biafra movements
like the Biafra Zionist Movement, the
Movement for the Actualisation of the
Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and
the IPOB.
The group said that it asked the
government to order the military and
police forces to stand down and return to
their barracks and to organise a snap
referendum on Biafran self-
determination to be held within 90 days.
The African group lamented that Nigeria
not only ignored these demands, but
arrested more pro-Biafran agitators using
the military to attack unarmed protesters,
adding that “it is regrettable that the
Nigerian government has dismissed the
idea of a referendum on Biafra.”
The African group said: “The OEAS offers
its good offices to put out a call for the
creation of a united front and organizing
meeting of all groups in greater Biafra
land and its environs including the
Annang, Efik, Kalabari, Ibibio, Idoma,
Igala, Igbo, Ijaw, Itsekiri, Ogoni and
Urhobo communities.
“All involved groups and organisations
must put aside their internal differences,
personality issues, tribal and regional
differences to achieve the desired goal,”
the group said.

I appreciate what OEAS is doing for Biafra, and entire Africa. But, I think OEAS needs to be more proactive and practical and not just sitting in Washington and giving orders and directions.

Wow OEAS can make them selves an international acclaim by helping achieve Biafra Republic.

Just as I have always said, all Biafra groups minus that of the clown and sell out Uwazurike must come under a common front and then some of us will start taking them seriously .

Lie at the bolded. In 1967, Biafra had no single international recognition, not even an affiliate. Yes, we still have a very long way to go, and we are well aware of that, but as usual we celebrate whatever success or milestone we have achieved, bearing in mind that it's no mean feat. Today, Biafran is being featured in many international online news agency. Our branch in UK is working tirelessly to co-opt Britons to give us support, same thing with IPOB office in US.

We don't need any commendation from the yourubads or thier slave masters, all we need is the support of every Biafran and that is what matters to us. We are happy with the progress we have made thus far, and we believe that we will keep climbing to greater heights.

That's exactly what Lugard said when he arrived in west Africa. The result was Nigeria.

Bia*** to me is as old as Nigeria, if you kill it, is same as killing Nigeria. Therefore, it is difficult to die.

To my mind, a more comprehensive approach should be adopted.

Referendum to me will do the magic because in that, we will identify those in support and those against.
