Fresh facts have emerged as to how the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, sealed his plans to marry his new wife Olori Wuraola. Recall on 12th March 2016, their traditional wedding held and the first-class monarch was represented his father, siblings, and other close family members. The wedding thanksgiving held the next day at the Ooni's Palace in the ancient town of Ile-Ife. Expectedly, the 2 ceremonies pulled together eminent Nigerians.


But how did Ooni of Ife perfect his plans to marry Wuraola {nee Obanor}? In an interview his 3 sisters recently granted, they revealed they met Olori Wuraola about 1 month ago when their brother introduced her to the family and they all accepted her. According to Princess Adesola Ogunwusi-Olojede,"We only met her(Olori Wuraola) not quite long. I will say like a month and she is going to be a good mother and a good wife to the whole Yoruba race. She is a pleasant woman and a very accommodating one at that. She is a good wife that will take care of the customs and tradition of Yoruba and Ife. She is a good woman that will take care of her husband."



Another of the Ogunwusi sisters, Princess Folashade Ogunwusi-Fadairo said,"Kabiyesi didnt meet her a long time ago, it was the oracle who revealed her to Kabiyesi. They never met before. The irumoles are still alive and they are doing wonders. You know a lot of things have been happening since they introduced the new Oloori to the world. Lots of people were saying evil things about her. Majority of what they said are not correct. They are just running her down. But to the glory of God we still married her. Is that not wonderful and marvelous? I have to say she is well mannered and highly cultured." Another Ogunwusi sister, Princess Bimpe Ogunwusi-Daodu also glowing spoke of Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi that,"You have to know that Kabiyesi is not an ordinary man anymore. He sees things and knows things and these were revealed to him and to some of us that this is going to be happening. I am not surprised that Queen Wuraola walked in and she is going to be Ooni’s wife."
