It is important that this does not go the way of previous ''investigations and comittees'' where the results are swept under the carpet and where nothing is done, leaving people with a sense of injustice and anger.

While we may not support the Biafran agitation, we should not support extrajudicial killings.I can only hope that our instiutions are up to the task of prosecuting the wrong doers.

And it is high time our Army became a true ''People's Army''. It is still stuck in the old colonial mentality. It has to change.

People just came here to nag for nothing. The army is doing its job. Many of the people commenting are not witnesses but just simply speaking from personal bias. If the president really wanted to eliminate pro-biafra, none of you will have the mouth to talk. Go and check what president obj did in niger delta.

So unless u have evidence to add to army's investigation, be quiet!

They will not be quiet.
Will you beat them for that?

The ICC should set an example and a precedence wit buratai and buhari, one keeps wondering is it the same Nigeria army that ran away to Cameroon as refugees when they were confronted by Boko Haram, the same Nigerian army that has never engaged the cameroon military over bakassi peninsular now talking about ROE when it has to do with unarmed protesters.

I can now see why nnamdi kanu called Nigeria a zoo.
This same army that depended on South African mercenary to rout Boko Haram still has the audacity to shoot at unarmed protesters.
Very shameless and despicable acts. The same Igbos protested all over the world capitals with no single casualties only to be shot at while protesting in Nigeria, then something is actually wrong with Nigeria.
Well said

Foolish people.... They should better do and conclude their so called investigations and bring the perpetrators to book.

The army thinks they will kill people andget away with impunity, forgetting this is the 21st century and such Barbarism cannot be tolerated.

The world is watching, closer than they know.

Investigations you say?
Why do we have a lot of hypocrites in this nation?

You see, I am maniacally bewildered, it's high time hypocrisy becomes a punishable offence in this. It is getting out of hand. Every tom and Jerry knows that those guys acted on the orders of a superior. With the way Mr. President spoke during Aljazeera interview, it was crystal clear that there was this willingness to order the shootings of any kind of Biafra protest, even when those guys are unarmed, forgetting that the quest for self determination is never, and will never be a crime.

As a President, wisdom to preside over your domain precedes every other single flair you might possess. By acting all stubborn, you only strengthen the resolve and zeal of others to push for what they believe in.
hello fellow I strengthly believe in your good digestion of analysis towards this hypocritical statement a made by the army general after the bygone of the brutal massacar of our brave men who committed no crime according to the international law; hence this present government ethics and vision has become a cosine to the literate man all over the globe, a country where democratism is an eyesore the administration a laughingstock the president a bird, by sincere portrait view of Nigeria the country shouldn't be one, the past previous administration has been planting the seed of oneness in our innocent mind so they can manipulate our wealth and intelligent "the truth is nigeria is a zoo their is need to separate the lion from the monkey the snake from the rate that's the only logic that can bring peace and development.

You can't kill an idea. Killing unarmed fellows won't stop an idea that has been ingrained inmy DNA , imagine buhari messing himself up when he was interviewd by aljazera, this is a president of a supposed country call nigeria.

Are they not? If they were harmless as you claim, why burn Dangote's trucks? Why burn stalls belonging to the Hausas?
Playing the victim as usual. If you Nairaland thugs are born of noble births, go and misbehave instead of writing trash all over the place. Idiots.

So in your words the army was retaliating by killing unarmed folks? A truck and a shop is now worth human lives, right? Silly shegoat. For all the genocide, rapes and destruction of entire LGAs that's currently ongoing in Benue state and elsewhere, how many of the criminals have the army killed or even arrested? Now you open your stinking mouth to spew poo here. Why is the IPOB massacre investigation starting now, and not when the killings occured, if you are not a shameless fool? Confused woman. Please watch it before it turns into a fullscale insanity.

It appears the world is finally listening to IPOB. Someone out there is also begining to accept there is s difference between the 60s and 2016.

Buhari was summoned to America right after he rejected watching the video of the ABA masacre, and now this.

Social media has made certain acts difficult to hide; the more these videos are handed to media organisations the easier the goal of the agitators for independence.

The Al Jazeera interview of PMB made him realize that the international community is seeing his atrocities. Where has Buratai been since? This is just to face saving measure because he knows he wud have his day at the ICC.
