An old game which involves merciless flogging of one another with long canes was recently played in Ipetu-Ijesha, Osun state.

Each of the participating streets had their representatives (competitors), so the representatives came out to flog themselves in turns. The more a participant could withstand a particular session, the higher the points earned by such participant.

According to a social media user who attended the event, whichever street wins gets a price from the king
