By Emmanuel Elebeke ABUJA: The Federal Government yesterday shared the sum of N345.095 billion with the the States and Local Governments for the month of February. The amount was short of N25.293 billion from the N370 billion shared in the preceding month. A breakdown of the figure showed that federal Government received N127.200 billion, States received N64 billion, while Local Governments got N49.740 billion. once it has to do with sharing of money, them go talk am today and action go follow the next day but our budget has been lying on senate desk for over 3months without clear direction on when it will be passed. Giant of Africa, I hail you. 1 Like |

Sharocrazy is our own kind of government in Nigeria. We simply share money out. No emphasis is laid on the money fetching the government some value. The state government should be made to get money based on contribution and not size because being big not only entails huge maintainance cost, it implies bigger output. |

Standing5: Are U sure U understood him? Osun collected 6mil from January allocation which was abt N 370bil; he is taking about February allocation which has dropped to abt N 350bil... Common sense should tell U that Osun will receive as low as 450mil or so...read well and comprehend b4 answering #JAMBite |
