Wireless in UI is meant for lecturers and staff only.

I find this thread very uplifting with the reports that many notable universities in Nigeria now have wifi. I remember when I was in UNIBEN donkey years ago, we had to go to the few expensive Cyber Cafes' to use the Internet, and they were very slow as well.

There is, but not strong in the hostels except you stay on the top floors. Mass Comm Department now faculty of comm studies also offers wifi. CIT garden and some strategic places too

Uniben....WiFi everywhere but is not free.
I remember I had friends who go to night class just to download movies

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) have as well... the fee is embedded in your Payment invoice.. You collect your log in username and and password from the school ICT Center

KWASU own is free, working perfectly, not even with password.
