The Scrotum is the sack of skin that holds the man's two testicles. If a man has only one testicle, he generally still has more than enough sperm for fertility and more than enough testosterone production to be a total normal male. Both testosterone and sperm are produced in the testicles. Testosterone, a male hormone, is secreted into the veins of the scrotum and distributed through the man's body of the blood-vessel system. The man's seed(sperm) is produced continously by the testicles, but the same amount of sperm is not produced each day. This is one reason a couple does not achieve pregnancy every time they have intercourse during the woman's fertile period. The sperm produced by the testicles are passed onto a collecting system called epididymis. Each testicles has an epididymis contain entirely inside the scrotum. The vas deferens is the tube that passes up from each epididymis, out of the scrotum, over the pubic bone and back down into the pelvis to connect with a storage chamber of sperm, the ampulla which is located just above the prostrate gland. The ampulla penetrates through the prostrate gland to connect to the urethra, the tube from the bladder that carries urine and sperm to the outside through the penis.
