I must admit it is not all about party but the level of independence enjoyed by APC elected officials at the moment seems to have been missing in PDP because of overbearing party leadership. APC might go the way of PDP if people like Atiku, Tinubu and Saraki dynasty engage in power tussle within APC. What distracted Jonathan was ambition to continue in office beyond 2015 which made him answer "yes sir mas'er" to these wicked and powerful cabals within PDP. As soon as Buhari starts nursing ambition of continuing 2019, he will begin to compromise like Jonathan to the same powerful people who are now shared 50-50 between APC and PDP.
