Understanding human temperaments is the key to towards achieving excellent human relationship, understanding human temperaments is also very vital in choosing careers. Many out there are presently practicing careers that are totally not in line with their temperament, those who successfully choose and practice careers that are line with their temperament are most times called Genius or they most times very successful in their chosen careers. Today I will try to help us identify and analyze these temperaments and relate them with the various practicable careers (I will use Nigerian celebrities as a case study).

Sanguine

These are the category of people I termed “Hyper-Active”, it is never a dull moment with this kind of people and they lighten up every dull atmosphere. They are extremely extroverts, talkative and display body movements to go in sync with their conversation, they will even first greet you if you fail to greet them. One very good thing about them is that they have no space to harbor grudges against anyone, they say it as they see it and their weakness is isolation, they can’t afford to be isolated. Not finding who to dramatize or talk to can be disastrous to them, it can even lead to depression. These set of people are the party freaks, they love gatherings where they can have the opportunity to exhibit their dramatic skills. They extremely love being the center of attraction

Public Nuisance and Gossips

Choleric

They are the authoritative people, most times serious, strict and disciplinarians; I termed these categories of people “The Drivers”. They are extroverts who don’t take craps and no for an answer, they enjoy giving orders, commands and rules, very ambitious they are natural leaders. Most of them are the perfectionist type and they love things going their own way, you start becoming their enemy if you don’t abide by their rules and their best friends are those who are loyal to them, those who rarely antagonize them. They love being listened to and are obsessed with power; they have this strong energetic drive that makes people subjective to them. When it comes to more important public speeches they can take anyone to the cleaners, they are good orators.

Melancholy

I termed these categories of people “The cool headed folks” very reserved kind of people, they don’t like wahala at all. They can be very analytical that is very good at analyzing and interpretation of written words, figures and pictures these folks are introverts, they enjoy and regard every bit time of time they spend alone. You want to become their permanent enemy, just deny them of their privacy, space (They are obsessed with space) and time alone. You don’t expect this category of people to first greet you if they are not that close to you, they don’t say too much but they can say more in words, figures and pictures, they are the creative geniuses. The Melancholies always try as much as possible not to pass their boundaries; they always mind their own business. In whatever you do please don’t try to push these categories of people to the wall because their outburst is always crazy, they really don’t know how to react or exchange words, it’s either they hit you physically or do something that would really hurt you. Phlegmatic

They are the extreme kinds of introverts, they so love hiding inside their shell, they are the very cautious, reserved, careful and sometimes fearful individuals. This one’s don’t like “wahala” (problems) at all at all, you can live with them for ages and not have a single problem but don’t just bring a Sanguine to live with them because you will frustrate life out of them. Phlegmatics are very unsociable, they love being by their selves most times, you will never find them starting up a conversation, for example you ask them “how are you ?” they will reply you “fine” and just stop there until you ask them another question. They can be trusted, loyal, calm, patient, and good observers, they are not thrilled by the flashy things of this world, and moderation is their watch word. The Phlegmatics are very conservative but not highly analytically as the Melancholies because they would easily loose interest on things that stresses them much. They most times contented with what they have not very ambitious like the Cholerics and they don’t enjoy speaking to a crowd or being the center of attraction
