Joshthefirst:
Alas firestar.
You quenched all the fire in my star
And you declared me a buster.

I put my sword away for you and harddon.
No way I would have made it two weeks with all these fight going on.

I am no longer fiery and grill
Harddon lend me a quiet quill

Lets contemplate with rhymes like calm waters, ripples gentle, body still.

Three summons before midnight
Josh, humour me please:
Are you spoiling for a fight?
Was about to douse dying blue blazes. ..
The heck...
You are still a spitfire...
Amazing.

Rouse Milord Harddon at your peril
He owns the quiet quill
Yet,
That belies a fortress strong of will.
I will for now retire
Your summons will feel fire.

A child I still was when I came upon the idol: word god
A young man, when I subdued the fiery land of Zod

Ah, Zod a sweet, painful, memory. Filled with lore and poetic chicory
But I slew the idol of Zodites and my sight changed, my strength grew even more as I sucked up his powerful mane.
And in my new found powers of rhyme flight
I ravaged the sky towers in mad might
In my young thirst for god-word-blood I caused a thousand firestars to loose their light
I still remember their songs of contempt as the stars died out.

I recovered from mad rampage, but alas, Zod was all langrage.
Beautiful city of words, ravaged.
Wrapped in sadness, I buried my sword of madness
I wandered the land of former eloquence, drenched in silence.

Aegis passed. I became a word knight, and tell you these stories of yore donifez.
Now you know why firestar, the last star, will always show strange opulence
She alone withstood the mad sword of the idol-god killer, her star shines brightly in new home. The strength of the survivor, forever her own.

For Millennia the old knights sang the song of burning and wasting Zod in the night
Young I still am, but ancient in word might.
I remember the feel of the buried sword, lost in sand and blight, the feel of star-killer.

The peafowl awakens, Harddon.
How do you like your poultry?
Extra crispy and well done,
Stuffed with crumbs and sultry gravy?

Or floating Isles in a sea of lava soup
Vegetation stringed with periwinkle
With a slab of tamed tubers in groups
May this feast make your senses tingle

My work speaks for me- a memento
stuffing it up like a burrito
welcome to the rhyming world
rejuvenating words like wholesome cud

Unleashing demons - a manumit
splay of punch-inebriated pugilist
the mote is aggrandising
oh! etched braggardism.

pay honour when due-not a mite
flightless bird even takes flight
demons taking Sirih after birth
a brawl with me equates death.

Feed me lines
I pray thee
Feed me rhymes
For the gods have no pleasure in bloods
Let me wine
I pray thee
Let me dine
For my soul surf for songs

To dogs this peafowl
Too little flesh too little blood
Too much feathers, over sized beck
Scrub for scraps, hit by crap

I am No Nigerian .. I know, Yes I know, I do not need you to tell me what I know, Try telling an Auchi man is lodge is yours, So I know Even the squirrel knows that the sky is sad And that the boast of the ants Is because the lizards have gone to bed When the earth begins to run Look out of your wretched windows You will see trouble marching on the street It has a very sharp machete To glorify its blade with blood For no head can be found sitting on its neck Our anuses have shed awful tears There is darkness in the land Nigeria stinks like a decomposed corpse Suffering has raped the land Dragging our intestines out through our mouths We have been suffocated by this bad change .. Oh Buhari, what have we done to you? The promises you fed us Litter on your table like withered leaves Your goons have used the knife to cut it One after the other they keep denying There is death in the land Food is now a luxury for a few Jobs are for the elite For the sons of your Ministers Naira is in shambolic mess .. We have cried out but your ears are shut Infected with shouts of padded budget Dogara fights Jibrin like a shameful clown I do not need you to tell me what I know Even the squirrel knows that the sky is sad And that the boast of the ants Is because the lizards have gone to bed When the earth begins to run Look out of your wretched windows You will see trouble marching on the street It has a very sharp machete To glorify its blade with blood For no head can be found sitting on its neck Our anuses have shed awful tears There is darkness in the land Nigeria stinks like a decomposed corpse Suffering has raped the land Dragging our intestines out through our mouths We have been suffocated by this bad change Our eyes are full of tears.
