We can only win our next match playing 352
Was thinking he was gonna adapt to it in d second half. He should henceforth play omerou, ekong & balogun as 3 @ d back. Ndidi Mikel & iwobi @ d midfield (iwobi as ten, Mikel should support ndidi at blocking 4 to protect d back 3). Y ebuehi plays right wing back & moses plays left wing back. Nwankwo & iheanacho should play alternately upfront like dey did against Argentina in d friendly.

I never liked the idea of fielding this young man, Ebuehi and Uzoho but they keep proving u wrong while your loved ones (Shehu et al) keeps pooing on your face.

The Awaziem I saw under Ranieri isn't bad at all. Thats is not to say Ekong is bad but Awaziem is statistically better.

Abeg shut up, which Awaziem are you talking about?

I don't this k there was much difference in the way we played yesterday and the way we played our friendlies..

And with the way we play, I don't think we I'll even score one goal in this tournament embarassed
That's the sad truth. And the problem is not from the coach, it's just from the semi average team been paraded..

We re just below average and thus not much should be expected in this worldcup.

We can only boast in our own continent against our fellow mediocre African teams. But when it comes to the world, the ballers takes the stage and the minors obsoletes in shame embarassed

Mikel has little or nothing more to offer to the team anymore. The earlier we realize that, the better for our lot. Again, 3 5 2 will save us from further embarrassments in Russia. Ighalo isn't doing the needful, Moses too. Let's see what others can offer, that's why FIFA made the list 23.

Since the England game I opined that we lack the creative edge in the final third. We are not threatening at all upfront. That has been our problem. We are sure to concede a goal or two , but how do we respond, or will we ever take the initiative to go ahead first?

Icon4s:
Honestly speaking, overall the boys played well.

Our midfield did excellently well to match the Croats.

The own goal was unfortunate. No fault of either Etebor or Uzoho. It was just bad luck.

Ekong's foul is what I would not accept for a player in a tournament like the World Cup.

I hope Rohr does not start Ighalo again.

Iceland are very beatable. They will come out to claim 3 points against us and may get exposed.

Somebody should tell the boys that the fashion parade is over, and that the World Cup has started.

Match stats.

Neither Uzoho nor Subasic had a save to make all match but we still lost 2:0. Should have been a goalless draw atleast if we were better organized.
Thanks baba for bringing this out.

I remember that you and Michael2 are good critics of Rohr not some who always makes U TURN when we had it bad.

Hope to see good match against Iceland.

you just wrote down the truth. people here are sentimental. shehu's name has been mentioned more than any other player even though he his not at fault for how inability to score. the boy well contained perisic, perisic could only make crosses from the wings. Even the Croatian LB did not over lap because of Moses and people want Shehu to leave perisic behind bumping forward.

Oga they were counting shots at goal. I’m not talking about midfield o. How many goal threatening chances did we create against England in the 2nd half? NONE

Having read ROHR'S post match analysis, we are going no where. He is already tipping Musa to start our next game because of his pace.

Really disappointing result not so much because we lost but because we didn't give ourselves the best chance to get something out of the game the coach has to look at himself in the mirror he wasn't on point at all ordinarily I would have said he was clueless but he knows we perform better under the 352 system but why he keeps ignoring it is a mystery.

Honestly our chance of making it out of the group is now next to impossible but we'll just have to keep trying the coaching crew should now going forward ensure we use the best formation and personnel going into the remaining matches at least to give us ourselves a fighting chance.

Now is not the time to insult or abuse the players they need our support now more than ever I'm not saying we should hype them or have unrealistic visions of them just support back then now

Let's go super eagles

So sad our players couldn't use their initiative.

The Croats are taller and possess high jumps. Yet still Moses kept whipping his freekicks high. What happened to passing. We have a long ranger in Ndidi, I was expecting him to set the guy up to launch a missile from outside the box. But brother Moses was more interested in falling to get another freekicks whipped to a Croats. Same for our corners.

You don't always wait for the coaches instructions to tweak somethings.

Awaziem is better in a 3 man CB because his accurate long balls initiate counter attacks.

LMAO...... Guess you know the same Tyrone you preferred over Shehu as a RB was first suggested by Forgiveness?!

Also seem you didn't pay Attention to several Posts I've made cautioning Forgiveness for over-grinding Matters?!

When Mikel left, we crumbled and the Croatians over ran us. Okocha is talking creativity. However, creativity was not the problem. The problem was lack of mobility which was caused by Shehu and Ighalo. If Ebuehi and Iheanacho started, we would have caused the Croatians more problems.

Fear God.

I remember saying the same where I watched that match. Why the crosses when we are playing a tall team, no lay ups, nothing. The long ranging is why I watch the Zambians

Its a lie, thats just like saying Chriskels was the first guy that started clamoring for the German guys.

We all clamored for Tyrone, Aina, Odubajo and Ehizibue when we had a problematic RB. No one did it first or alone because that problem was obvious and we needed urgent solution to it.

having given us what we needed. I was expecting the NFF to draft in a better tactician as the coach and relief Salisu of his job. I have never seen Salisu rob minds together with Rohr. If Rohr the technician is blind, Salisu the coach ought to be able to to read the game well.

If Rohr Is to be retained, then we need to over haul the back room staffs. Salisu, Alloy and Co needs to be changed.

Amuneke, Manu, even Siasia would have spoken sense into Rohr
