If I was the coach Ahmed Musa will not smell my bench. Dude is full of speed no skills. I don't even know how Oliseh came around with the captainship decision. Nerve of some people.
This is exactly how we keep killing our own. One bad match and we throw him into the gutter. We are so quick to criticise sha. Haba

Nobody is talking about how iwobi totally got lost in the game.
Currently there is no one like Mikel in that team.

I do not like sounding like Icon4s but, with EXPERIENCE, Iwobi will learn to deal with the physical aspect of ye game when we face physical African teams.

I'd assume you understood what you typed. you said he is NOT a ball player like Mikel, you didn't compare him euthaNized, you just pointed out that Mikel is a ballplayer and he isnt. So in essence what you said is that is not an intelligent ball player

is Ndidi an inteligent ball player like Mikel? grin

I think this has always been the concern of some posters here with Iwobi, he simply can't keep up with the physicality of African football

Having noted that, I would suggest against Cameroon, a team that will very much be similar to Senegal, that we have a midfield of Etebo, Mikel and Ogu if possible

Is this the right time to also discuss Onazi?

He could nt impose himself on that AM position.

I will say 'welcome to African football Alex'.

The game was too physical dor him. IMO we have jst played the toughest team in Africa.

Iwobi needs to sit up, he get lost in a game easily. He need to understand the physical nature of the African teams, especially west Africans. Cameron is loading and he got his work cut out.

With the young players coming up, Ahmed Musa's role in the eagles is shaky
Reports say he rejected the assistant captain role when Onazi was made today's captain. How true?

Some1 here said something about KC moving to everton ... To me that is a good move... Coupled with the fact that lukaku is prolly heading to chelsea this summer

No debute for Ebuehi today.

Rohr doesn't take chances.

He is still unbeaten after 4 games.

Not in this kind of physical game... It would have been a baptism of fire for Ebuehi... Better to ease him in..

abeg. 7-10 months should be enough

By the end of this season, he should be looking at other options, last last by January 2018, all transfer deals should be finalised with a more serious club

That guy is a happy soul, I would hate to see his happiness dimmed by mismanagement and his continued stay in City will eventually lead to unhappiness

That was my initial view but with Gabriel Jesus, Aguero and a possible attacking addition, I think Nacho is smart enough to maintain the lessons learnt to Forge ahead to a club where he would cement himself as a top quality player.

Little to no game time at all is unappealing.

I said a year or two. I think he can go with the year with Guardiola.

No be say we dey kill our own, but let us no kill our chances in football because we want to keep an old soldier that has outlived his usefulness. No be until he pulls a Yakubu or Yobo that we will know there are much more effective players in that role

Did you say "one bad match?" I have been following Ahmed Musa from his days with Kano Pillars and dude never change. Very inconsistent. Dude can score a hatrick today and misses 100 sitters tomorrow.

Rohr named Onazi as his captain today... perhaps, he was upset by that since he has been in the team longer. I do not know the truth about those reports.

he was played out of position. no shame in that, we need to keep him in that LMF role or he goes to the bench,
what do you make of the combination of v. Moses and isacc success on the flanks because of their bullish and fast style of play. compared to iwobi playing in similar position.

You know Sir GoodJoe.... I always smile when Iheanacho is always the one people wanna criticise for every turn he makes.... what about Iwobi today he was downright poor but yeah we know why.... he is kinda not yet used to the physical "jam body" aspect of African football.... with Experience.... **chaiii... licensed word owned by the archguardian himself, Sir Icon4s** .... he will learn wink

Also... Iheanacho took almost all if not all our setpieces today and was on point mosr of the times.... he did his best to battle koulibaly and co.... Nacho wom the penalty and whem i saw he was the one to take it.... i just started shouting goal because I have never seen Nacho miss a penalty.... and he may never ever miss coz he is that good from the spot.... **remember his first spotkick for city as a 17yr old in the USA**

So plsss.... nacho had a good game though not a spectacular one.... but it is good he scored and his influence on the team shows that he cannot continue to warm that nonsense bench at City.... pep I like as a tactical coach but not as a manager (man manager).... Nacho needs an environment to blossom.... this is his generation sprouting up fast... and now add mbappe and Dybala to the equation.... Nacho needs to shine more... abeg...

TheGoodJoe:

Nacho got the penalty and scored the goal. Guess he deserves more. Played ninety minutes too.
