I went to pay my electricity bill around 8:30am this morning at the Bariga Undertaking Office of IKEDC (Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company) and I met an ongoing protest. Some residence of the Ladi-Lak area of Bariga were complaining of very poor power supply. Some said they have not had power for 8 months. My own area is Akinola zone in Bariga, and we have power supply just about 6 hours (daily) or less these days.

IKEDC officials came to address the crowd and said it was a nationwide problem, but that it would get better in the next couple of weeks. Look at pictures from the protest below.
