If you watched BBC TV this afternoon and see how children were killed and injured in Syria you will definitely shed tears and may be tempted to say God where are thou? I tried not to cry but I couldn't hold back. Especially when the video of the bomb that killed them was captured from the helicopter that dropped it down to when it killed God's gifts to the world. I just hope there is enough space in hell for the wicked. RIP kiddies.

It is my opinion dt hell should be in compartments. Hot, Hotter, hottest, extremely hot, hottest of the hottest etc.The different kinds of evil in our world suggests dt hell should be of different grades. it will be great injustice for one who stole my 100 naira to be in the same hell with shekau or perpetrators of that crime in Syria. God please hear my plea.

I don't remember supporting the Iraqi invasion.I've decried it many times.Just cause we are not on the same footings on issue doesn't make inhuman to matters that threaten humanity like the senseless killings conducted by Assad.

I don't see you denounce Assad for the death of 300,000 Syrians rather you are fixated on glory hunt for Russia and Assad while you refuse to acknowledge the tyrant that occupies Syria.

I have observed that Syrians have a very high degree of pain tolerance. They are living in hell.

Before anyone can be tried under the Hague Statute,a formal petition must have been sent to the ICC detailing crimes committed by any such individual.

When the petition is received,a panel of judges examine the petition with help from expats and parties involved(e.g those who suffered from the atrocities of the accused),an investigation is opened.Once the petition is seen as valid and the crimes determined to be worthy of prosecution,the judges recommend to the ICC Chief Prosecutor to take steps in prosecuting the individual.

The Chief Prosecutor formally declares the individual wanted for trial and begins process for a fair trial.

While many africans have been caught in the nets of the ICC as compared to their European counterparts/Non-persons of color,we should be reminded that they did commit the crimes alleged against them and they received a fair trial before convinction.

I'm not saying there's no bias in the Hague Statute cause somehow there is and this stems out of the way Western/First World societies work.

Some call for the trial of George Bush and Tony Blair.Let's remind ourselves that the actions from these two is condemned and lauded by their citizens.Not all support what they did in Iraq,while some praise them for it.It's a hard job to gather 100,000 signatures from Americans or Britons on a petition to try them at the ICC.

This is a case where a society is divided and can't conclude if these said leaders are actually champions of a just cause or war criminals.Until that is solved,you won't see a Western leader tried in the Hague.

Same thing goes in my home country.Israel has been accused of war crimes,no Israeli would sign a petition for the trial of any Israeli General,lawmaker or even Bibi because the society is united and on the same page on what constitutes a war crime.To any Israeli any action to stop Palestine encroachment and aggressions is highly welcome and would never be regarded as a war crime.

Obviously it doesn't sound fair that justice works that way but that's how it is and only a greater power can effect a change to this.
