Human rights lawyer and activist, Mr Femi Falana says the current anti-corruption war by the Federal Government may not yield any meaningful result after all.

This, according to the Senior Advocate of Nigeria, is because the criminal justice system in the country has been hijacked by those individuals who have looted the treasury.

He was speaking at a public lecture organized by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye chapter, with the title ‘The Limit Of Anti-Corruption War’.

Mr Falana blamed the nation’s value system for the level of impunity it has witnessed.

The human rights lawyer called for an urgent review of the nation’s criminal justice system to make it more accountable and effective in fighting corruption.

The gullible believe it will yield results. But wake me up when Ameachi and Fashola are also put in Jail.

For now, let's get back to work and wait patiently for 2019 to come.

How can it yield results when a brain cripple considers himself the only saint in government with total disregard to rule of law and judiciary whilst he bullies the accused and decimates opposition using EFCC/DSS/MILITARY e.t.c

A democratic government or fight against corruption can only work seamlessly when there's synergy amongst the three arms of government.

And some fools believes he's a man of integrity?

Yes,the looter of the treasury has hijacked the criminal justice system just like the proving looters like Rotimi Amaechi,Fashola,Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar,Timipre Sylva had hijacked the anti-graft agencies.
Femi hide your face in shame, when your likes celebrate the lopsided fight of corruption by this adminstraction and the continuous intimidation and molestation of any vocal critics of this adminstraction.

Hope your head won't fall off.

Can Buhari singlehandedly review the nation’s criminal justice system if he doesn't have a good working relationship with other arms of gov't?

He must stop demonising our judiciary as totally corrupt to succeed in his anticorruption drive.

Almost everyone in Nigeria govt is corrupt, if you fight A, B will blackmail you and open ur past. Just set a new stand and fight the resent fresh crime. Almost a year, no one is guilty or in jail so why wasting our time and resources.

This APC's sentimental lawyer is now seeing the futility of all his inputs to this present woeful administration in order to eat crumbs.A party built on corruption can not fight corruption.
