THE Nigeria Football Federation is to get the blessing of the minister of Youth and Sports in its quest to engage the services of a foreign manager for the Super Eagles. It was gathered that the NFF under the leadership of Pinnick Amaju had been toying with the idea of hiring a foreign manager that would lead the Eagles in the run up to the World Cup qualification for Russia 2018. However, the NFF, being an agency under the ministry will take the matter before the minister for ratification.A senior member of the NFF told journalists that it is a procedure that the NFF needed to go through given the sensitive nature of such appointments. “There will be a retreat on Tuesday where the minister will be given a brief on the foreign coach as well as other issues regarding the world cup qualification race.” http://medianaija.com.ng/nff-now-wants-a-foreign-coach/ |
