We like deceiving ourselves in Nigeria. Why borrow somebody's car to ride on your wedding day when you have a bicycle? I love this couple, very sincere and genuine. Am sure they will live simply according to their means per time. Life is in phases jare biko!

I see no reason why one should spend his life savings because he wants to marry a lady all in the name of white wedding. We have so much relegated our own traditional marriage for another man's marriage process. We are so dumb in Africa that we have no value for ourselves. To tell you how much we disliked Africa, we fry potatoes in Africa and called them french fries does it make any sense to you?
My opinion is that we should start relegating what is not of Africa and start developing on our traditions and customs. My fear is that if we continue like this without rescripting our minds in Africa, permit me to say that Africa is a missed race.
