why dont u go there and findout for yourself to be sure.

Transaction officer comprises of customer care officer, tellers or marketing. It depends. My advise though.

sorry sir, I don't have to because part of d steps you take when you see an invite is to judiciously find about d said vacant position and d company recruiting, and with what I have here, I can safely say d job is not meant for me why waste my little change again by going there

It is funny atimes the way graduates jump to criticize every job vacancy they storm upon. I will like to clarify some issues here, Firstly, It was clearly stated that the role is Transaction officer, i believe as graduates we know what transaction officers do(either marketing or operations) which is the marketing aspect in this sense. Some people said its a 30k job, i will advice us to stop misleading other people who are in need of jobs(since you dont need one). I know most people frown whenever they here about marketing jobs, but my dear friends there are some marketing jobs that are still manageable unless if you prefer to be idle. Anyway this particular one is for a leading bank in Nigeria and the pay is N70,000 with additional benefits like medical insurance and pension.
At present, we are not conducting interviews as successful candidates have already resumed with the bank, however you can keep sending in your Cvs for subsequent vacancies which i believe come up soon.

I was made to understand that transaction officers are marketers for the bank. then it was for GT bank and the pay is 69000 by U connect HR and promised to become a full staff of GT bank after 2 years. i rejected the offer because i wasn't expecting a marketing job. Transaction officers in its real sense is not a marketing role rather in operations. u connect is deceiving the unemployed graduate by fine tuning it. why not call it marketing job and those interested apply knowing exactly what to expect.
