Safari, a Swahili word which means 'journey' is used to describe a guided tour to observe animals in their natural, unrestricted and untamed habitat. Safaris in Eastern Africa is getting more popular each year as the chance to get close to animals- especially the 'Big Five' (buffalo, lions, leopards, elephants and rhinoceroses), in their natural habitat is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Safaris offer a fabulous and memorable experience, so if you have the opportunity, just take it. But I doubt if Nigerians can go on the type of safari in the picture below, in an uncovered vehicle and lions freely roaming around. Are you brave enough?

Obviously, not everyone is as brave as the guy sitting on the car's hood. |
