Have you ever had issues like slip and fall?

No, not yet. But I am aware of that risk and always advice my clients on the texture of the tiles we might use. The truth is that glazed tiles are slippery when wet, but very easy to maintain as they are easier to wipe with cloth mops.

More work still going on here as we tile the floors and remove the scaffolding outside.......

Updates from this building, we are gradually removing the bamboo...............

We have adequate space for easier movement, maybe it was the distance I stayed to take the pictures....

This is tight Oga. I have noticed almost all recent buildings no matter how large they are, come with tight staircases. From the space occupied by just that person doing the tiles, 2 people cannot pass each other comfortably without brushing each other.

Why are most stairs not given enough wideness

Why are most stairs not given enough wideness

I also see this on most buildings, the stairs will be very narrow and when handrails are done on it, it looks even narrower. The solution is to be looking out for stairs sizes in building plans, how I wish the approval authorities are looking at this while approving buildings........

It's only in older buildings that you will see stairs and simply fall in love with the wideness. Also, doors have become smaller. Older buildings have wider doors. I wonder what changed everything

The brown color looks good. I guess it's in an area prone to dust.

Every time I look at this building, I have a feeling I have come across it in my numerous waka. Lol

These are some contemporary building designs, very good. If a client wants such a style, he only needs to prepare the drawings and I will hit the site with my men. I am going to start a hostel next.

To this end, I am starting another construction project for building of 8 Flats of 3 Bedroom and 4 Flats of 2 bedrooms for one of our members here. Details of the project are as follows;

Project: Construction of 12 flats of 3 and 2 bedrooms each.

Client: A Nairalander
Contractor: Tigerkenn Homes Ltd
Project duration: 200 days
Budget: To be revealed later.

These designs are awesome but it would cost extra money to implement the various luxurious features, especially given the current economic situation. But, I do believe we need to update our house architectural designs in Nigeria to something more modern.

Making a 'belt' to demarcate the two colours I want to paint on the outside surface of this house........

Getting the final works done before we handover this site..........
