1.       In the last five months, the name ‘Saraki’ more than ever before has become a household name. The name is mentioned in a million times daily across Nigeria and beyond. However you view him, Saraki is the single most popular political figure in Nigeria today ahead of President Buhari and Olusegun Obasanjo #RESPECT

2.    Newspapers can’t sell without putting Saraki’s name or face on their front pages or headlines. This is what the journalists call ‘free press’ whereby you get a mention on the front pages of Nigerian newspapers without paying a dime! #RESPECT

3.     Saraki has cut a picture of a larger-than-life dogged fighter, one that is seemingly capable of taking on a war with the Lagos Mafia, and all the other Mafias, without blinking an eye! #RESPECT

4.   Saraki has successfully helped Nigeria revive the hitherto comatose Code of Conduct Tribunal. So many people didn’t know that a Justice Danladi ever existed anywhere on the face of the planet until now. #RESPECT

5.    In Nigeria today, on the streets, in the markets or in the taxis, either rightly or wrongly, Saraki is now viewed as a billionaire in the real sense of it, with some even saying he’s richer than Dangote. Can you beat that! #RESPECT

Thank God u have just reminded us how Bukola saraki shares d same features with Lawrence Anini. One of the greatest armed robber ever lived. Lawrence Anini was also popular than anybody during his reign and newspapers can't sell without mentioning his name.
Anini the law
Saraki the law maker.

It is not good to be a slave to your fellow human being....if you think Saraki is enjoying this show I can only laugh at your folly. Deep down in his heart, he wants to resign but pride would not.

I pity Tunji. I am sure he is from kwara.

Push Saraki until dey open cell for him. Even if he spends 3 years getting ridiculous injunctions, he will end up in jail.

APC has assumed worst case scenario. PDP becomes Senate President.

If you see this as respect, people with common sense sees it as criminality, armed robbery and enslaving the common man on the street

Op is here celebrating corruption of the highest level, a state where citizens needs to queue up every friday for 100naira and a wrap Amala instead of empowering them, same saraki who fought his father and sister cuz of his hunger for power and you still dare call him OMO OLOYE OLOYE died with the hatred of bukola in heart that he had to start up another political party cuz of bukola. Am pretty sure that was the beginning of bukola's downfall

Buhari is the litmus test for corruption crusade yardstick as he is GUILTY of incomplete asset declaration and should resign with IMMEDIATE effect if he has any atom of integrity in him.
Not so

PhockPhockMan:
But Buhari, in the document titled, ‘I pledge to Nigeria’ had also said that all his political appointees would only earn salaries and allowances as prescribed by the Revenue and Mobilisation and Fiscal Allocation Commission.

He said, “I pledge to publicly declare my assets and liabilities, encourage all my appointees publicly declare their assets and liabilities as a pre-condition for appointment. All political appointees will only earn the salaries and allowances determined by the RMFAC. I pledge, as Commander-in-Chief, to lead from the front and not behind in the comfort and security of Aso Rock, to boost the morale of fighting forces and the generality of all Nigerians.”

Stop celebrating curroption!

You won't celebrate corruption yet you voted for him (his trouble only started because he disobeyed his party)

You won't celebrate corruption yet you support Tinubu and Amaeichi

You won't celebrate corruption yet you forgot to tell us Tinubu was charged for exact same crime (Tinubu won only on technicality)

U forget to add
If Saraki wins he will become the next president after Buhari
Or else
He will rot in jail.
So the case is a gamble for him and a litmus test to Nigeria as a nation.
I reserve my comment

seems the op or/and author of this write up fails to know what's in vogue.
FYI, APC is already looking at the worst case scenario, meaning, pdp should rather be there in spirit and body, than have a pdp spirit, apc body.

If you really understand politics, you'll know that APC chairman's recent interview and statement on Saraki's case has shown that the party chiefs have already concluded on his case. They have decided to use him as the SACRIFICIAL LAMB. I can't blame the party though, he put himself in the arms way. Desperation brings destruction. We know they are all thieves, yes we know. But the party's position reign supreme.

If you are not a bloody HYPOCRITE, please show us where you said the same thing in 2011 when Gbajabiamila and Tinubu sabotaged Hon. Mulikat Akande of PDP to crown Tambuwal as Speaker.
