Have you ever wondered why Nigerians are never precise with their numbers?

How old are you? - 20 something, early 20s, late 20s. Why don't you say the damn number?

When are you leaving? - on the 20 something of next month, month ending, beginning of next month. Why can't you say 20th of August?

How long have you been dating? - A year plus, some months, for a very long time. A year, 6 months, 2 months would do just fine.

Is this a cultural thing or what?

African time is never precise,we tend to rule time rather than time ruling us,like in the west.

But however, time is the master, fast or slow,it rules everything.
