God created everything and made them to reproduce after their own kind. He also made us but in His own very image and likeness. Every manufacturer loves to put a label on its products and if God were to give man a label, he would have been carrying about a tag like “Hand Crafted By God” and maybe that would have cleared a lot of unbelief about a God creating the Universe and the human race. “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Gen 1:27.

God created the Garden of Eden to develop a family relationship with His man because He knew that’s the best place He could survive and live up to His expectation of Him. The fruits and vegetables were created from the ground and cannot survive without it, what about the fish in the water, no other place would be convenient for them to live aside inside the water, and then what gives us the notion that we would survive living independently of God’s wonderful presence. And thank God we have been redeemed and can now boldly enter and experience God’s presence without condemnation because of Jesus shed blood.

Jesus, who was God and at the same time a man on earth never lived independent of God when He was here on Earth, did you notice He never started His public ministry until the Holy Spirit came on Him? We now have the golden opportunity of having God’s presence living right inside us. But we must learn to make Him our friend and respond to Him always. He is right inside of you if you have received Christ in truth and you are now He’s and not the devil. “But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.” Rom 8:9-10.

Jesus knows exactly what he was saying when He said in John 15:5 “...for without me, you can do nothing!” The whole essence of the Christian life is total dependency on the Almighty God. All our spiritual activities are supposed to gear us toward reconnection to our lost source. So endeavour to make sure your prayers, bible study and worship are all reconnecting you to the source of life Himself because that’s the only way to experience all He had in plan for your life, I’m striving by God’s grace to do the same.
