Majority of Nigerian politicians are corrupt and we as citizens have contributed to encouraging this act.

A politician will be obviously corrupt and seem not minding about the people who voted him, but he will be celebrated by his people by giving him chieftaincy title, or protecting him whenever he is accused of committing an act of corruption. with this type of approach how do you think they will change or even those trying to be good will have courage to continue? its in this country that a man who was caught an prosecuted for stealing, when he was working as a cashier in one of the western countries, come back to his own state contest for governorship and won, and still looted that state treasury during his eight years rule, what do you expect from such a person, but still when the authorities wanted to brought him to book and prosecute him, some of his people ( the ignorant youths) guard his house with arms so that he will not be arrested.

The present senates have shown us beyond reasonable doubt that they are not there to protect public interest but their own selfish ones, this is when one of their own, a leader for that matter, is being accused of committing an act of corruption and grave misconduct, but they are blindly on his side even when the available facts have shown that he has committed such an act, yet to be confirmed by a court of law, this implies that they are birds of a feather flock together, and that they are the greatest enemies of progress to this nation.

We have to start showing lots of concern about this issue, we cannot stay like this and when a politician steal money the only thing you will say is' there is god woo' you need to act, use whatever you can to help reduce this act to the bearest minimum. I believe anybody reading this write up is educated, graduate or undergraduate, business man or public servant, employed or unemployed. Do you know that the school you have attended is not only about you graduating and becoming government/private woker or business man, or even unemployed becoming liability to your family, your society and the country at large? once you are above 18yrs you need to start asking yourself what have you contributed to the development of yourself, family, society and contry at large, you need to stop being a bigot, and one way of doing that is trying to see that your representative have done the right thing if not, you can call him back, educate your people about how its being done take action!!!

Personally,I am not against d fight against corruption, what I don't like is when it becomes one sided.
Amaechi who empptied Rivers' state accounts to fund Buhari's election is sitting tight on d high table forming boss. Also there is Fashola and his 70 million naira website and 150m boreholes.
Do U know that 3K dollars was shared per delegate for Buhari to emerge APC candidate, where did that money come from?
Is it possible that Saraki is d only ex governor guilty of false asset declaration?Highly impossible if U ask me.
So,if Buhari is serious abt fighting corruption,he should start from within and allow EFCC to investigate d several petitions against Amaechi,Fashola,FAyemi etc, then,we'll take him serious.

Thank you bro, exactly on point, another mistake we make is after their 8yrs of misrule we still send them to abuja to represent us, which shows that nothing will ever change, and another point is that if you have any evidence that a politician committed an act of corruption, is now easier to bring it to the notice of the public, even if you want to do it anonymously, no one will come to our country and change it for us the task is ours, a typical example is chibok girls saga, the whole world wanted helping us but what happened at the end?
