Some days ago, I was at Digital Square, Ikeja to see a friend who works in Carlcare. Our conversation was going smoothly when one his colleague came in holding a fashionable phone I have not seen before.


Upon asking about the phone, he told me it is an itel smartphone and this particular model it1551 he is using is yet to be released into the Nigeria marker but he is using it as a staff.

Being a phone fanatics, I decided to look at the features and see what the phone is all about. For a phone that would be priced just over 17,000 naira when it finally get into the Nigeria market, I was pretty impressed with the features.


The itel it1551 is among the offerings you should definitely consider if you are in the market for a fashionable smartphone that has a big screen that can perform but your money is limited.

Discussing further with him, he informed me that the device will be unveiled in a month time. I would definitely wait till then and get one for my small cousin who has been bothering me for a smartphone. Being a rather careless person, my cousin should enjoy the metallic body of the it1551 which makes the phone durable.

Aside the impressive 5.5" IPS screen, I was wowed with the phone’s fast Charge function. I thought the fast charging ability was just advertising trick but was pleasantly surprised when we charged the phone from 4% to 65% in 30 minutes.


With the situation of electricity supply in the country at the moment, the coming of a fast charging phone is a welcome development.

Least I forget, the handset is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, which is just cool.


For a phone that would be selling between 15,000 to 17,000 naira depending on your location in Nigeria, one should expect a performance level that will make him/her feel they have spent their money rightly.

Itel phone is a wonderful phone with a nice pachi and with good facilities, all Itel phone are a good product to use all my friends are testify to it because must of them never regret of using them both their small phone and big one are affordable in price try it u will never regret of using them
