‘Tamerri Festival’ was held on the 22nd to 23rd April, 2016 at Sarius Palmetum & Botanic Garden, Maitama. Abuja. The first and pilot edition of a 2-day experience was organised by Root n’ Raw. The major theme of the pilot edition of Tamerri is ‘appreciating interconnectedness’. Various African artistes were featured , Femi Leye, Brymo Olawale, Atta Lenell, Lindsey, Bezi Dakula, and Jeremiah Gyang bought the entire place down. There were spectacular cultural performances and masquerade exhibitions aimed at promoting the spirit of tolerance and respect for cultures.
