**Major Works Carried Out at nights when traffic reduces.

**Causes Night-life Culture in The People

***Further Grows Subsistence Means for the People.

It's like some kind of the acts and scenes that are pictured in some novels I read in my elementary school days. This particular one, I remember very well- where Ola Rotimi painted the picture of children trooping around and the older ones going about their concerns... all members of the community savouring the good mood that the very bright light of the 14th moon that continued to illuminate the nook and cranny since about two days previously...

The picture painted above plays out at the moment around Osogbo, the Osun capital, every night up till early hours of the next day.

And as every incident nowadays is tied to the Osun governor, this night-turn-day experience is caused by non other person but Rauf Aregbesola, and I am sure cynics are not happy about the development.

For the whole of a fortnight ago, residents around the Dugbe area of Osogbo, adjacent the Mandela Freedom Square, have had their nights turned bright cool 'afternoon' by the high illumination from flood lights all over the area, where heavy road construction is being carried out.

The people of Powerline, Ota-efun, Kobon'gbogboe are also not left out of this experience.

For the children, it's an extention for the day's jollity to continue, just as the adults bring out seats and other confortuers for the reason of the lights that were actually put in place for the road construction to be done when traffic would be less affected. Heavy traffic during the day causes divertìon of vehicular movement when work was going on in the afternoon.

Just some minutes ago, I captured colourful scenes of residents of Okejetu area, adjacent Fountain University, Osogbo. Four sets of beams for the third of the bridges that connect the East Bypass axis of the ring-road was being cast tonight. This construction, others, was being done in the night, which has been turned into daytime because of the heavy flood of light that also drew out young and old members of the communities around that area.

I was actually invited by a friend of repute who had a business to carry out around that area by then. Amazing to observe, how small commercial activities started forming as workers buy snacks, water and food from women who see the development as opportunity for them to make some money while the time lasts.

And for the children, it was an opportunity for them to capture and experience what they only see on TV or in pictures on pages of their books.

It's even interesting to observe that some kind of socialisation had started forming just before we left the place.

I spoke with some of the workers, who are residents of Osogbo, and they told me that they would only wish that more constructions should continue across the state because it has provided subsistence for them and their families.https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1090596034334053&id=100001510009076&refid=28&_ft_=qid.6279387809072151905%3Amf_story_key.-7168613005234759720&__tn__=*s

OP was talking about construction and not street light.

Nigerians are now celebrating mediocrity. When Agagu was governor of Ondo State, virtually all road constructions were done at night and illuminated, yet nobody termed it progress. Even if he is building bridges or sky scrapers @ night, how does that mean development or progress?

As the APC are about to clock 1yr in office, their lies have begun to reach a feverpitch. Aregbesola who is completely broke is now a magician, building projects with what, his blood? Abeg, tell us another story.

I never support any party, but I can tell you the OP is saying the truth. I attended a wedding in osogbo and I parked in front of Dugbe Police Station. The project is real.

You shld know that dude is only being insecure due to APC's success because OP never said Aregbe is awarding contract afresh but continuation of old projects.
