Woman's Leg Smashed In Delta By A Hit & Run Driver by 9janewsarena: 1:09pm On May 02, 2016
A bike man and his female passenger were hit by a careless driver yesterday, May 1 along the New Ogorodo road in Sapele, Delta State. The young woman's leg was badly crushed in the accident while the bike man was seriously injured.

According to a witness, the incident occurred when the driver of the SUV tried to overtake another vehicle. He swerved and hit the bike, sending the biker and his passengers to the ground. He drove away without stopping but as luck would have it, some people gave chase and eventually caught him.

They punctured his car tyres and took him back to the scene of the accident. Fortunately, they both survived and are currently receiving treatment at a hospital.

This hit and run case is getting out of hand. That was how I lost a very close family friend last Sept over this. I wonder what these useless frsc and voi are doing on the highway aside harassing road users to make illegal money from them

Sometimes I don't want to blame the car drivers.some of this okada drivers will never leave roads for cars to pass. They will even be claiming right on the road as if cars and okada re mate for nigeria road. I also drive and see some of these things done by d okada pple u will ave to keep horning severally before they leave road and after they will still abuse u for pressing horn on them to leave d road

d man must hv continued bcoz of hw youths r wicked these dayz...One was even killed and burnt inside his car recently...We need to change our mindset...ThankGod these ones were calm and wish them quick recovery.#DriveSafely
