It is time for West Africa to be delineated into traditional nation states. Enough of marking time as pseudo nations where interests can never be alligned, where there is no common language or culture.

There is a Yoruba sphere in West Africa, Igbo sphere, Hausa sphere and etc who speak thesame language and have thesame culture and have done so for centuries. Those people can be able to work together under an atmosphere of healthy rivalry among their subgroups. It will not be so bad that a PMB will claim to be allied with Yorubas who voted for him but yet stop a Yoruba man from becoming Kogi state governor at all cost despite that the Igala person who won the election died and the Yoruba man, James Faleke was the deputy. So staying in a Nigeria where that kind of evil is normal is totally unwise for the Yoruba, Hausa or any other group. The Yoruba are the foremost African group. A Nigeria where a PMB was against the National id card project and etc is going no where. There was a nuclear energy conference a while ago in Europe and the only two Africans in attendance were Yoruba Professors. Many of our people have won science awards and etc and it is obvious that we will do far better on our own, in our own sovereign nation with traditional allies. The Bariba for instance are Yoruba traditional allies while most Nupe, save some, went down with the Fulbe jihad in the 19th century. The Fon are Yoruba people as well in culture, tradition and spirituality. There is probably no Fon person who does not speak the Yoruba language, the Ewe too are in the Yoruba sphere. So Togo, Benin and Nigerian Yorubas and Baribas should be one nation doing great things together and delineated into traditional states up to 20 or more . That country will be over a hundred million in population. The Ogboni can administer that country, same way the CIA administers the US. The Ogboni is based on fairness to all humans. If something is unfair to anyone, that thing will not be supported by the Ogboni. The Ogboni are against 'ika' which is the Kemitic Egyptian word, now Yoruba word for evil or unfairness.

If the UN is reorganised, representation will definitely be by GDP initially and GDP will be determined by number of workers and as everything evens out, the number of workers will be same for thesame population size. Population will eventually be the determinant of UN representation, but for now, the Yoruba population is younger than Germany's, so the German population is more productive, having more workers, has a higher GDP and will have more than double the UN reps of the Yoruba country as of today if economic output were used to allocate UN seats, but later, when we have thesame average age, same dependency ratio, same number of workers and etc as Germany, the new Yoruba sphere that will then be a nation consisting of Fon, Bariba, Yoruba, Ewe will eventually have more Reps than Germany. Just like the Chinese will eventually have more than 3 times the number of US Reps in a restructured UN that is more inclusive. Presently, the Yoruba sphere is like 1.5 percent of world population, if it steadies at that, a 700 member UN assembly will have 10 people from the Yoruba nation when everything evens out while the US will have like 35 but those are estimates based on population, assuming the population are same quality but they are not for now. Some nations have an average age of 18 years while Europe is over 40 years average age. By population, China will have 4 times the UN reps of the US but by economic output, they can not have 120 percent for now. So it is a mix and I will say, economic output should be the initial determinant of UN representation in a new restructured and all inclusive UN and within a few decades, when average age become balanced worldwide and everywhere is uniformly organised, economic output will be a direct function of population. If it were so today, the Yoruba nation will have around 10 reps, the US 35, China 140, Germany around 10, India 140 and etc but it is not yet so and the productivity of nations are not equal yet, so economic output is what is fair to use. A nation filled with children can not be at par with one filled with adults and economic actors.

So the Yoruba should look ahead, Nigeria is over, we should encourage others to stand as well. Our everything should be Yoruba as an identity and language while we use English side by side. We are the ambassadors of Yoruba. There are 100 million in West Africa and another 100 million in the Western hemisphere who speak the language to varying extents and practice the culture. We are a world brand. We need to abandon Christianity and Islam and be Yoruba, original children of God at peace with fellow humans, not looking down on any human culture but seeking to preserve them all. That is the Japanese, Chinese and the general Far Eastern outlook to life, it is what God created us to be.

As Nigeria goes down and a new world unfolds, we should not be caught unawares as Yoruba.
