"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome". It can't happen in Nigeria, we still have 3 tribes in Nigeria which only one is dominated by Muslims. We can defend our religion with weapons. I hate to say this but the weapons the Hausas can use will be a child's play to what the igbos have. |

annunaki2:Guy you know nothing. Have you read how babaric crusaders activities were. Do you know how they killed Muslims, Jews, orthodox Christians? Do you know how Historian called the crusaders, they were, cruel they spared no one? They killed pregnant women, killed children, looted and stole lands for their personal use. Have you read how Spain (Andalusia) was taken over by the Christian king Fernández and Queen Isabella from the moorish muslims. Stop reading part of history, read everything before making conclusion. Who told you islam is declining in Nigeri? Even in the world people keep accepting islam all over the world. 3 Likes |

annunaki2:Your view about Islam can't do anything to the religion, Infact you can only harm yourself. As for the numbers, we don't care if you more than us. We have more poor people than rich in this world. But still doesn't make poverty the best option. 3 Likes |

Fourwinds:You can read this. Crusades (1095-1291) First Crusade: 1095 on command of pope Urban II. [WW11-41] Semlin/Hungary 6/24/96 thousands slain. Wieselburg/Hungary 6/12/96 thousands. [WW23] 9/9/96-9/26/96 Nikaia, Xerigordon (then turkish), thousands respectively. [WW25-27] Until Jan 1098 a total of 40 capital cities and 200 castles conquered (number of slain unknown) [WW30] after 6/3/98 Antiochia (then turkish) conquered, between 10,000 and 60,000 slain. 6/28/98 100,000 Turks (incl. women & children) killed. [WW32-35] Here the Christians "did no other harm to the women found in [the enemy's] tents —save that they ran their lances through their bellies," according to Christian chronicler Fulcher of Chartres. [EC60] Marra (Maraat an-numan) 12/11/98 thousands killed. Because of the subsequent famine "the already stinking corpses of the enemies were eaten by the Christians" said chronicler Albert Aquensis. [WW36] Jerusalem conquered 7/15/1099 more than 60,000 victims (jewish, muslim, men, women, children). [WW37-40] (In the words of one witness: "there [in front of Solomon's temple] was such a carnage that our people were wading ankle-deep in the blood of our foes", and after that "happily and crying for joy our people marched to our Saviour's tomb, to honour it and to pay off our debt of gratitude" The Archbishop of Tyre, eye-witness, wrote: "It was impossible to look upon the vast numbers of the slain without horror; everywhere lay fragments of human bodies, and the very ground was covered with the blood of the slain. It was not alone the spectacle of headless bodies and mutilated limbs strewn in all directions that roused the horror of all who looked upon them. Still more dreadful was it to gaze upon the victors themselves, dripping with blood from head to foot, an ominous sight which brought terror to all who met them. It is reported that within the Temple enclosure alone about ten thousand infidels perished." [TG79] Christian chronicler Eckehard of Aura noted that "even the following summer in all of palestine the air was polluted by the stench of decomposition". One million victims of the first crusade alone. [WW41] Battle of Askalon, 8/12/1099. 200,000 heathens slaughtered "in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ". [WW45] Fourth crusade: 4/12/1204 Constantinople sacked, number of victims unknown, numerous thousands, many of them Christian. [WW141-148] Rest of Crusades in less detail: until the fall of Akkon 1291 probably 20 million victims (in the Holy land and Arab/Turkish areas alone). tartar9:Their god was sleeping. It should even be a shameful thing to them to accept Muslim took over their land and chased their fetish as out while their god was sleeping. What we read in the Bible is that God normally help his warriors in the old testament to win their battles, like Joshua like David. But I think this their own god doesn't care about them. Prefer to give power to the supposed enemies. Some of them will quote me and say the God of old testament is different from the new testament. |

The fact is that righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to a people. There's power in righteousness. Those who are quick to condemn the church and the gospel and call people hypocrites are not even true Christians who are determined to live righteously based on the word of God. They want to identify with God and wallow in iniquity. It doesn't work that way. A lot of people condemn the gospel just for political reasons so shameful. Secondly, a lot of people want to dress like the world, talk like the world do things like unbelievers, be acceptable to the world and still want to manifest the power of God. It doesn't work like that. "come out from them and be separate" says the Bible If you don't, you'll have a form of godliness but deny the power therein. Also, the gospel is being attacked everywhere in the world. Christians are being attacked in USA, Nigeria, everywhere. It is the signs of the end time. "Even the gospel shall be ill spoken about" If you say "Jesus" some persons will become uncomfortable.. They use the word "Religion" to encapsulate their mischief to condemn and attack the gospel. The Bible told us about them. The gospel is being attacked everywhere Bro, people are comfortable using the "F" and "S" words in public than talking the word of God... When you say "prayer" they get offended. It's all the manipulation of the devil to entrench Godlessness. The tragedy is that Wickedness will increase.. You can't take out God and the devil will not come in. Another area is "Money" . This is the area where the church is being attacked. There are lots of dirty money in the fold. It's a manipulation of the devil. When blood money was brought into the church in Matthew 27:6, it was not put into the treasury. But today.. people are spending blood money. I could go on and on.. It's all signs of the end. But God will build his church and the gate of hell will not prevail against it. For Nigeria , you may not agree but the truth is that something happened in this country not too long ago.. We all know what it is. The church will have to fight for its destiny in Nigeria because a strong switch happened in the spiritual realm.. It translated politically.. It will take some time for people to realize it. In all, God will stand up for his children all through. |

God of the old testament is still the God of the new testament,it goes back to my previous posts.A christian can only function with accordance to the teaching he receives. Many people deliberately raise up spineless and unhealthy christian so they don't have boldness to raise questions question norms.Trust me i'v been studying General overseers and see this as a deliberate attempt to raise up people who don't question authority rather than people with skilled set whom are God reliant and when they see you rearing up your head to become one they ex-communicate and isolate you hold meetings to peg you so you don't fly..the diesase is in unhealthy incomplete Christian and not the Muslim.I'm a Christian figther i've fought my own countless wars so i speak with battle experience.Battle's i'v gone through if the so called friends i see go through half,i would have attended their funerals one by one..not bragging this is just hw it is and God gets the Glory |
