I have thought on what is the relevance of a thing or being if it loses its essence thus the above subject matter. If the essence of salt of adding taste loses its essence then it loses its being or reason for existing.

In the bible, it was said that humans are the `salt’ and `light’ of the earth but with the present acts of chaos caused by we humans on mother earth I think majority of us have lost the salt in us.
