Could this be the way of the future? Maybe.

We may soon do away with our solar chargers or powerbank for your smartphones; here’s something that could really give your green credentials a boost.

This new technology called Bioo Lite uses your plants to create energy to charge your phone, fueled by photosynthesis.

The plant pot draws its power from the plant as it does what plants do – giving you a USB socket that you can plug your phone into. It’s really that simple. It looks nice, it’s renewable energy and it might even save you some money on your electricity bills.
