A brief review of Occupy Nigeria as described by Wikipedia.
Date 2 January 2012 – present
(4 years, 4 months and 2 weeks)
Location Nigeria and Nigerian diaspora.
Causes
-Removal of subsidy on Petroleum products
-120% increase in the price of Petrol
-corruption in Government & public service
-Inhuman treatment of Nigerians by Government & Security agents
-High rate of poverty
-Goals Reversing the Removal of subsidy on petroleum products
-Federal Government budget review (Cut-backs on politician allowances)

Methods
-Civil disobedience
-Civil resistance
-Strike actions
-Demonstrations
-Online activism

Casualties
Death(s)
16 (Lagos, Maiduguri, Ilorin and
Gusau ; All shot by the Nigeria Police Force ).

After going through this, my questions are;
- has anything changed for the better since the last protest?
- have the causes of the protest been resolved?
- are those who participated in this protest still alive?
- are we going to treat President Buhari different from the way we treated ex-president Goodluck Jonathan?

With these and many other questions left hanging, I support the NLC and any other groups or individuals who are getting set to say NO to SUBSIDY REMOVAL.
