Please am proposing the motion which says that mercy is better than Justice. I need points to help my argument. your inputs are therefore welcomed.

Justice can result to greater harm, when it is applied blindly. For example, a woman breaks the law, say by stealing to feed her children. The law, justice says she should be jailed. This could affect her children who would be miserable, hungrier, and worse criminals.

Mercy is when she approaches a judge who considers her need, and let's her go with a warning to find other means to feed her family. Mercy makes justice humane.
