The National Association Of Nurses And
Midwives (NANNM) has directed all its
members to immediately join the
nationwide strike.

This was contained in
a memo by the
Associations General
Secretary T. A
Shettima tittled "Increase in fuel price".
Shettima advised that in inconsonance
with the resolution reached during the
emergency NEC meeting of NLC
yesterday, all the affiliates of NLC are
hereby directed to embark on an
indefinite industrial action until further
notice.

He also advised that strict compliance
be ensured
Reports reaching us here at
Nursingworld states that Members of
NANNM, have stoped Nurses from
performing their duties at Asokoro
District Hospital in Abuja, with other
General Hospital said to have joined in
the strike action too.
