Nassarawa Governor, His Excellency Umaru Tanko Almakura during a recent visit to the site of the Lafia Airport.
He maintained that the project would open a new vista of economic activities, create employment for the teeming youths and boost the inflow of revenue into the coffers of the state.

absolute waste. Our northern leaders need to address critical issues and desist from promoting useless projects. Better build a processing plant,power plant,school or ICT park for learning, empowerment scheme for farmers or graduates.

I mean what the hell is an airport going to do for the masses who are the majority and hardly use the airport ? Mr Governor get your priorities right.That airport is useless and is not better than a motor park as it concerns service delivery to the citizenry.

Very fooolish Governor, is that what the state really needs. Go to Lafia, like one kind village with motor cycles everywhere. The state university is on strike for over 2 months now.
