My Redmi note 3 now picks ntel perfect.

Just dial *#*#4636#*#* select LTE only on the sim of choice.. sim 1 for me. Then go.back.to main menu. Toggle airplane mode on and off and you are good to go

Sim 1 or sim 2?

Doesn't work on mine. Goes away after a few seconds

ntel is having issues which they've sworn they are trying to fix, the annoying thing is they will resolve it and won't compensate their subscribers.
For those looking to join, NTEL IS HAVING SERIOUS ISSUES RIGHT NOW

After complaining to them and threatening to leave their network, I got 1.5mbps today, hope it improves in coming days as they promised

Both Sims. Ensure you set it as your data sim. Also you might want to leave it properly setup and inserted for a while even if it disappears. Do the *#*#4636#*#* stuff. Click on the sim slot, Set it to LTE only then exit. Turn on and off airplane mode

Lol

I've done all this many times over. Even before you mentioned it.

Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by Nobody: 9:33am On Mar 06, 2017
Hmm... So ntel is still shit. I abandoned my ntel sim some 4-5 months ago hoping to come back here to see if they have improved. Looks like nothing has changed, some people are even satisfied with getting just 1.6mbps when MTN 4g is still giving an average of 35mbps on a slow day. On a good day MTN 4g gives me above 60mbps. I know it's not unlimited but I just can't cope with the inconsistency of ntel, make dem keep their stupid unlimited, at least I still get 20gb with 5k on mtn and it is ever reliable.

something has to go for unlimited at 10k. Anyway the speed this morning is over 10 Mbps, like I said it is the highest since we switched to ntel late last December

Yaba near Adekunle, the past three weeks has been one bar with very slow speed at times as low as 56kbps until last Friday when I started noticing improvements, I had earlier threatened to leave their network when I messaged them few days before

It's for 1 month. Actually the 5k is for 10gb but MTN has been giving 100% bonus on data on new devices for like 8 months now. So u get extra 10gb with 5k for the month.

You are getting above 42.32Mbps (5.29 x 8 )

I can confirm that. MTN is like 30 times faster than ntel at least for me. I have ntel, spectranet, glo, Etisalat and non of them even come close to MTN 4g in speed.

When u say 6MB/s do u mean that is the speed at which u download things or ur actual internet speed which is in Mbps.

Ntel a little better in Festac.
From 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. 2 to 3 MBPS
After that time 89kbps to speed
Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by rookidmart: 5:06pm On Mar 07, 2017
This network is paradoxical.
With 2 - full bars I barely manage to get up to 1MB/S

Switching locations with the bar fluctuating from 1 to none I get upwards of 3MB/s easily, within the same LGA (Surulere)
