The Student Union Government of Cross River University of Technology(CRUTECH) Calabar, rallied the troops on a MASS PROTEST (peaceful demonstration). Student were mobilized at the S.U.G Secretariat from where they matched to the School Hostels mobilizing student to join and air out their voice. They further went to all lecture venues stopping lecturers from lecturing, from there they matched on to the Vice Chancellors office. The Vice Chancellor (PROF. OWAN ENOH )addressed them saying "The issue is getting out of hand and the Government needs to intervene".



The S.U.G President stated that the forth coming examination for final year student which was scheduled to commence tomorrow (27th May) will not hold until adequate security is been provided.


He added ''It hurts me the most as students are not in the right frame of mind to partake in the Examination"..

The Protest continues as students calls for the State Government to Intervene.
