Yesterday the Senate passed the Repeal and Re-enactment of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act Bill (2016) for the third and final time in the Upper Chamber. Many of you will remember that after the National Assembly Business Environment Roundtable (NASSBER) in March, stakeholders from the business community and Senators agreed that this should be one of the priority bills that the 8th Senate should embark on to strengthen our economy.
