I was initially looked at awkwardly, but time passed and the overall fear of having an unbeliever in their midst died down..

A pastor does come occasionally in the night or early in the morning with a megaphone to preach on the "evils of freethinking", must have nothing better to do with his time..

Found way more atheists in my area than usual. I live in the US where drug dealers and armed robbers believe in god. However, in my neighborhood, I know at least 4 other atheists. One is an African American male with a 9th grade education. The word evolution sounds like Greek to him. But he still knows BS when he sees it.
