We were thinking of building more prisons for corrupt politicians in Nigeria, unfortunately the 'Litmus Test' for corruption fighting is woefully failed by this administration. (The Mega corruption case suspended indefinitely...)

Hence, current prisons are meant for the poor masses who steal less than 50,000 Naira. Nigeria, I hail the!

Lalasticlal, we need to move and depopulate to populate our prison yards.

Any of the following factors must have contributed toward having more prisons in the north:

1) There are more petty criminals in the north who cannot bride their way out.
2) In the south, people who commit crimes are more educated and most times, could afford the service of a good lawyer who fights their case.
3) The north has more ideal young men rooming around. An ideal mind is the devil's workshop
4) Because of more number of northers in the prison service, those in the top leadership used their influence to established those federal
establishments (prisons) in their domain
5) The culture in the northern encourages imprisonment instead of rehabilitation.
6)Because of celebrated differences in social class in the north, certain people are considered as slaves and could be thrown in jail for the
slightest provocation of someone in a higher social class. Consider the case of Dansuki and Buhari, the enemity dates back to the time of
Dansuki's father. A fulan man does not forgive
7) Because of the natural divide between the north and the south occasioned by years of hostility, the north would rather build more prisons in
the north for southerner inmates for security reasons. This would only make sense if you remember that some captured Boko Harams were to
be transferred to Anambra state for security reasons.
