Arguably the most criticized institution since the emergence of the Buhari administration has been the National Assembly, specifically, the Senate its upper chamber. A group, Citizens United for Peace and Stability (CUPS), has called on Nigerians to #OccupyNASS . Some more ambitious elements within this group went gone as far as calling for the scrapping of the Senate altogether.

A lot of money will be saved by scrapping the Senate. America has only 100 senators.But Bubu will rather cut salaries of hapless civil servants than scrap the useless senate.

We need to scrap Nigeria as a whole, not just the senate.
