What A Day! - A Poem To Tribute Late Stephen Keshi by SOBSISRAEL(m): 5:33pm On Jun 10, 2016 |
This is my first poem-like write-up. It was instigated by the shocking death of Late Coach Stephen Keshi, Former Nigeria's national team coach and player. He's always the Big Boss as a player and coach. I love him so much, and I never knew why. What a Day! I woke up into a bright new morning To a sad news which broke before the day Never knew the day will be so boring! Until I heard death has carried out its way So, Keshi will no more be coaching I knew it may be to his fans dismay. I never knew it will come so soon Even, I was surprised the world never perceived it The news on TV sounds like boom! When I heard its true I could not eat I think death should not be a fool To kill a man that is always proud of Nigeria's kit. Keshi our hero! Nobody knew until he won nations cup His magic took us out of zero He never left until he took us to the top! I don't know if we can get another coach with this Neuro So that Keshi's work will never stop. I really hope I could say goodbye Oh! Why is death so garnished It slaughters the good, and design the bad, I don't know why I really wished it could be barnished I could have paid so he will not die May your soul be ever flourished What a Day it was for a world which cannot say! Adieu, the big boss! Weeps...... RIP cc: lalasticlala Honeric01 seun |
